Has abortion changed you? Everyone is different, and your abortion experience is unique.  For example, your emotions immediately afterward may have been surprising.  On the other hand, you may have had a delayed emotional response after your experience or maybe you don’t have any feelings associated with your abortion.  There is no right or wrong way to feel.  The PRC is here to provide support no matter how abortion has impacted your life.

Life After Abortion

Life after abortion can be filled with feelings like relief, regret, anxiety, or even depression. Your feelings are valid and unique to you, and we want to help you work through them.  No matter how you are processing your abortion, you may find it helpful to talk about your experience and feelings in a safe, supportive, and judgement-free place.

There is never a wrong time to start discussing your decision with someone who understands, is willing to listen, and can provide help.

Let’s Talk

The PRC After Abortion Support Program uses the book “Changed: Making Sense of Your Own Abortion or a Loved One’s Abortion Experience” by Michaelene Fredenburg.

If you choose to talk with us one-on-one, you can talk confidentially with someone trained to support women and men processing an abortion experience.  By using “Changed,” you can explore your emotions and recognize the affects your abortion may have on your life.  At the same time,  you can build the support you need to heal.  The PRC pledges to offer help and compassion to anyone affected by abortion.

For increased confidentiality, we can help you find support outside of your local area too,

Help, Healing, and Hope

The PRC is a safe, supportive and judgement-free place for you to process your experiences.  For instance, the abortion discussion in this setting is set apart from politics, labels, and debate.   We understand the factors that may have contributed to your choice. In conclusion, our compassionate staff truly cares about your health, happiness, and well-being.

No matter what you are feeling…you are not alone.
